I can understand why Deepak Chopra felt so frustrated in the ABC New Nightline Face-Off over the question, “Does God Have a Future?”

Watching the debate, I felt some of the same frustration with the atheistic-agnostic side of the argument. Repeatedly, Deepak Chopra pointed out that they were attacking a straw man, something that has nothing whatever to do with the future of God, but with how God has been imagined in the past.
